Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.

Chameleon Café is enthralled by the art of telling stories through music and reading the room to take people on journeys of sound. The name comes from a play on her name, Camille, with the ability to transform depending on the environment. Café is both an environment with an ambiance and a place that energizes. Her tastes are eclectic out of a love for music, such as EDM, down tempo, classical and classics, 80’s, 90’s, pop, hip hop, country, and more obscure genres. She is a dancer and enjoys the energy of seeing people get on their feet and move. She’s taken dance classes mainly in Brazilian Zouk, Swing, Blues, Bachata, Fusion, Hip Hop, and Funk Fusion. She grew up playing the piano, adding to her ability to create unique soundscapes. She is enthusiastic about spinning for a variety of events including partner dance, Burning Man, camping events, weddings, and corporate events.
After an extended hiatus from actual DJing (from focusing on massage/spa music and home/car music), I hopped back on the bike to play at a Burning Man event, Flipside at the Yayborhood. Here’s the sunrise part. It felt great and it’s in my veins again.
I have always been into dancing, so I fell in love when I found the Fusion partner dance scene that’s a mix of any style to any music conducive to it. From seeking out dance scenes in multiple cities, I realize how much it means to me to find that kind of connection. Here’s a set from San Antonio.
Here’s another Fusion set that’s shorter, around 30 minutes.
Travel to Wonderland with Alice with this playlist inspired by a set at Burning Man that’s a curious mélange: fantastical, innocently psychedelic, and a little dark and mad in the best way.
Meditative and calming, like a lullaby, with beats.
